Research & Research Projects
|
|
My research interests in
chemical and process systems engineering engineering are related to the analysis,
synthesis and design of chemical processes, process
integration, water and energy integration, sustainable
development, green engineering, mathematical programming
and process optimisation.
I am focused on the
development of optimisation models and solution
strategies which can be applied for solving various
problems in process systems engineering. I am very
active in the field of the synthesis and optimisation of water networks,
combined water and heat exchanger networks
(non-isothermal water networks or heat-integrated water
networks) and the synthesis of evaporation-crystallisation processes.
